Kindles are ok to read from, but annoying in many other aspects: the commercials, the 'swipe to unlock', the lack of customisation (3 setting for margins, 3 settings for line width on kindle way more (sliding bar) on Kobo), the scrolling/swiping to move trough chapters the constantly disappearing book-covers for sideloaded books.Īlso, the Clara has a warm light option for night reading. There's really only one that I use consistently, and that is the Kobo. I have a Kindle Basic, a Kindle Paperwhite and a Kobo Clara HD.
